Method
- In a medium sauce pan combine brown sugar, corn starch and salt.
- Add in milk and egg yolks, stir until smooth
- On medium heat, cook and stir mixture until smooth. Stirring occasionally
- After mixture has begun to boil, cook for 1-2 minutes or until thick. The spoon will leave noticeable streak.
- Remove from head and add in butter and vanilla. Stir until the butter has melted and is fully incorporated in the mixture.
- Put into containers and chill for minimum 1 hour. Stir and serve
